Bathroom Plumbing Diagram
This page provides a high‑level ASCII schematic of the plumbing system for the CTC build.
It shows how fresh water, hot water, and grey water move between the bathroom, kitchen, and garage,
and how each major component connects within the overall layout.

Cold Water Flow
Cold water starts at the 50‑gallon fresh tank in the bathroom and is pressurized by a 12V pump.
From there, cold water is distributed to:
- Bathroom sink
- Shower
- Washer/Dryer Combo
- Kitchen sink
- Hot water heater in the garage (cold in)
Hot Water Flow
The hot water heater is planned for the garage.
Cold water feeds into the heater, and hot water lines run:
- Back up into the bathroom (sink, shower, washer/dryer)
- Forward to the kitchen sink
This keeps the heater in a serviceable, ventilated space while minimizing hot water line lengths to the highest‑use fixtures.
Bathroom Grey Water Flow
All bathroom fixtures drain into a combined grey water system:
- Bathroom sink → grey line
- Shower (raised 4″) → grey line
- Washer/Dryer Combo → grey line
These drains merge into a 10–20 gallon under‑floor grey catch tank, which then discharges through a hose when the trailer is stationary or at a campsite.
Kitchen Grey Water Flow
The kitchen sink drains into its own internal grey tank, separate from the bathroom grey system.
This avoids long drain runs and keeps the bathroom grey system focused on high‑volume fixtures.
Toilet System
The toilet is a self‑contained composting unit and does not connect to the plumbing system.
There is no black tank, no black plumbing, and no tie‑in to the fresh or grey water systems.
System Summary
This ASCII schematic provides a high‑level view of how water moves through the trailer:
cold water from the bathroom tank, hot water from the garage heater, and grey water from the bathroom and kitchen into separate handling systems.
It serves as a visual reference for routing, component placement, and future installation planning.
