Plumbing System
The plumbing system is one of the core infrastructures of the CTC build, supplying fresh water, distributing hot water, and managing grey water from both the bathroom and kitchen.
This section brings together all plumbing documentation — master plans, diagrams, installation plans, and system notes — into one central hub.
Plumbing Master Plan
The Plumbing Master Plan provides a complete overview of how fresh water, hot water, and grey water move throughout the trailer.
It documents tank locations, routing paths, fixture connections, system architecture, and cross‑room integration between the bathroom, kitchen, and garage.
Kitchen Plumbing Diagram
The kitchen plumbing diagram covers the sink, internal grey tank, and the cold/hot water lines that run from the bathroom and garage.
This diagram focuses on short, efficient routing, freeze protection, and serviceability.

Bathroom Plumbing Diagram
The bathroom is the central hub of the plumbing system, housing the 50‑gallon fresh water tank, water pump, shower, sink, washer/dryer combo, and the under‑floor grey catch tank.
The Bathroom Plumbing Diagram shows how all fixtures connect and how water flows through the system.

Installation Plans
Installation plans provide step‑by‑step guidance for building the plumbing system, including tank mounting, PEX routing, drain installation, venting, and system testing.
These plans are universal and can be updated as components evolve.

System Overview
The plumbing system is divided into three major subsystems:
- Fresh Water System — 50‑gallon tank, 12V pump, cold water distribution
- Hot Water System — hot water heater in the garage, hot water lines to bathroom and kitchen
- Grey Water System — bathroom grey catch tank and separate kitchen grey tank
The bathroom acts as the central water hub, with the garage housing the hot water heater and the kitchen receiving the only long‑distance water run.
Key Components
- 50‑gallon fresh water tank (bathroom)
- 12V water pump and optional accumulator
- Bathroom sink, shower, washer/dryer combo
- Kitchen sink and internal grey tank
- Under‑floor bathroom grey catch tank
- Hot water heater (garage)
- PEX cold/hot water lines
- Drain lines, traps, and AAVs
Safety & Best Practices
The plumbing system is designed with reliability, freeze protection, and serviceability in mind:
- PEX lines routed through interior walls whenever possible
- Shutoff valves at all major fixture branches
- Proper slope on all drain lines
- Vent lines and AAVs for grey water systems
- Accessible pump, heater, and tank locations
- Short hot water runs for efficiency
