Bedroom

Bedroom

The bedroom area of our CTC build is designed to maximize comfort while keeping the space flexible and open during the day.
The layout centers around a queen Murphy bed and a fold-down table, allowing the room to transition easily between sleeping, working, and living.

Bedroom Features

According to the current 3D and 2D layout views, the bedroom includes:

  • Queen Murphy Bed
  • Fold-down table

These features appear clearly in the document, which lists
· Queen Murphy Bed” and “· Fold down table” in both the 3D and 2D views.
The 2D layout also shows key spacing measurements such as 2′ 5 7/8″, 1′ 11 7/8″, and a total length of 12′ 1 3/8″.

Inspiration

Our Murphy bed design is inspired by a build walkthrough that demonstrates a clean, space‑efficient folding bed system.
The video highlights practical framing, hinge placement, and wall integration techniques that align with our goals for a flexible sleeping and living area.

Layout Notes

The queen Murphy bed folds up to open the room during the day, creating a large usable floor area.
The fold-down table is positioned to serve as a workspace or dining surface when needed, and it tucks away cleanly when not in use.

The 2D view in the document outlines the overall bedroom footprint, including the spacing around the bed and table, with dimensions like
2′ 5 7/8″ and 1′ 11 7/8″ helping define clearances and walkway space.

As the build progresses, this page will expand to include cabinetry, lighting, electrical routing, and final installation photos.
