About This Build
This project began as a simple idea: convert a 26’ V‑Nose enclosed cargo trailer into a fully functional, comfortable, and intelligently designed living space.
What started as a sketch has grown into a complete, evolving system — one that blends engineering, creativity, and long‑term planning into a single build.
Why I Built This Site
I created this website to document every part of the journey — not just the finished product.
Every measurement, system diagram, installation plan, and design decision is recorded here so I can reference it later, refine it over time, and help others who want to build their own CTC.
This site is meant to be:
- A transparent record of the entire build
- A technical reference for future upgrades and maintenance
- A resource for anyone planning a similar conversion
- A living document that grows as the build evolves
The Build Philosophy
This project is guided by a few core principles:
- Clarity — every system is documented with diagrams, plans, and notes
- Serviceability — everything is designed to be accessible and maintainable
- Future‑proofing — systems are modular and upgrade‑friendly
- Balance — weight, airflow, electrical load, and plumbing runs are all planned intentionally
- Transparency — successes and challenges are documented equally
The goal isn’t just to build a trailer — it’s to build a system that makes sense, performs well, and can evolve over time.
What You’ll Find Here
This site is organized into clear sections so you can follow the build room‑by‑room and system‑by‑system.
- Kitchen — appliances, ventilation, electrical, plumbing
- Bathroom — shower, toilet, washer/dryer, water systems
- Bedroom — Murphy bed, storage, layout
- Office — workspace, wardrobe, entertainment
- Garage — condenser, utilities, equipment access
Each area includes layout views, system plans, installation notes, and product details.
Systems Documentation
Every major system has its own dedicated documentation set:
- Electrical System — 12V/120V plans, load charts, routing
- Plumbing & Water System — fresh, hot, and grey water diagrams
- HVAC & Climate Control — mini‑split, ventilation, airflow
- Weights — full weight catalog for balance and towing
- Floor Plans — 2D and 3D layout references
How This Build Evolves
This is not a static project. As new components are added, systems are refined, and ideas evolve, the documentation evolves with it.
Pages are updated regularly with new diagrams, installation photos, and system improvements.
The goal is to create a complete, accurate, and useful record — not just for today, but for years down the road.
Thank You for Following Along
If you’re exploring this site because you’re planning your own build, I hope the documentation here gives you clarity, confidence, and inspiration.
If you’re just curious about the process, I’m glad you’re here.
This project has been a rewarding challenge, and sharing it makes the journey even better.
