Driver Side Plumbing Diagram
The driver side of the CTC is home to the main fresh water fill port and any associated venting and service connections for the water tanks.
This page documents the current and planned plumbing elements on the driver side, with a focus on the fill port, tank vents, and how they tie into the overall plumbing system.
Driver Side Plumbing Overview
The driver side plumbing layout is primarily about getting water into the system safely and efficiently, and allowing air to escape from the tanks during filling and use.
As the build evolves, this side may also support additional service ports or access points related to the fresh water system.
- Main fresh water fill port on the driver side wall
- Tank vent line(s) routed to the exterior on the driver side
- Protected routing for fill and vent lines between the wall and tank location
- Future‑ready space for additional service ports if needed

Key Components on the Driver Side
- Fresh Water Fill Port: Primary connection for filling the 50‑gallon fresh water tank from the exterior.
- Tank Vent Outlet: Exterior vent termination to allow air to escape during filling and prevent tank pressurization.
- Fill Line: Routed from the fill port through the wall to the fresh water tank inlet.
- Vent Line: Routed from the tank vent fitting back to the exterior vent outlet on the driver side.
Routing & Installation Notes
The driver side plumbing routing is designed to be short, direct, and protected from damage and freezing as much as possible.
- Wall Penetrations: Sealed and reinforced where the fill and vent lines pass through the trailer wall.
- Line Protection: Fill and vent lines routed through interior cavities or protected chases where possible.
- Service Access: Future access panels may be added near the fill port or tank connections for inspection and maintenance.
- Slope & Traps: Vent line routed to avoid low spots where water could collect and block airflow.

How This Page Will Evolve
As the build progresses, this page will be updated with final component selections, exact mounting locations, detailed routing diagrams, and installation photos.
The goal is for the Driver Side Plumbing Diagram to serve as the definitive reference for all exterior fresh water fill and vent details on the driver side.
