Bathroom

The bathroom is one of the most system‑dense areas of the cargo trailer conversion. It contains
the shower, toilet, sink, washer/dryer combo, and the 50‑gallon fresh water tank. This room also
serves as the mounting location for the Camplux tankless hot water heater, making it the central
hub for both cold and hot water distribution.


Purpose & Layout

The bathroom includes the following primary functions:

  • Full shower enclosure
  • Composting toilet
  • Sink and vanity area
  • Washer/dryer combo
  • 50‑gallon fresh water tank
  • Hot water generation via Camplux tankless heater

Plumbing Components

  • Shower: Hot and cold supply, grey water drain
  • Sink: Hot and cold supply, grey water drain
  • Washer/Dryer Combo: Hot and cold supply, dedicated drain
  • 50‑Gallon Fresh Water Tank: Main cold water reservoir for the entire trailer
  • Camplux Tankless Hot Water Heater: Mounted on the bathroom wall; supplies hot water to all fixtures
  • Cold Water Manifold: Located in the bathroom; feeds all cold lines
  • Hot Water Distribution: T‑off lines to shower, sink, kitchen sink, washer/dryer, and outdoor shower

  • Lighting circuit for bathroom illumination
  • GFCI‑protected outlet near the sink
  • Washer/dryer electrical supply
  • Exhaust fan electrical connection
  • Power supply for the Camplux heater (if applicable to model)

  • The bathroom contains the shortest hot water runs in the trailer.
  • The fresh water tank and hot water heater placement reduce line length and heat loss.
  • This room contains the highest concentration of plumbing components in the build.
